Mudra - Anubhav
Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana was a milestone step in the journey towards financial inclusion. After five years of launch, it was felt needed to study the perception of the stakeholders i.e., Borrowers and Lenders towards the scheme. Survey-based research was conducted to understand the opinion of Borrowers and lenders and a pool of information was generated through 221 beneficiary and 215 financer responses. The research carried out by the students and faculty of DES’s IMDR, generated insights which the authors believe to be useful to the policy makers as well as other stakeholders.

Academic integrity is supported through plagiarism and AI-detection systems. The Institute’s technology-enabled environment includes JMP education licences, MATLAB Student Edition, R, Power BI, Orange, MySQL, and industry-grade platforms such as TradingView and SAP University Alliance modules. These tools strengthen quantitative, computational, and financial research capabilities across disciplines. The IMDR library further enriches this ecosystem through its physical collection, multimedia access, remote e-resources, and Wi-Fi-enabled reading spaces.

The Research, Publications & Doctoral Program Committee guides research planning, supports proposal development, and oversees the institute’s scholarly outputs, including its DOI-enabled journal (JMDR).
