As a part of student development activities and corporate connect, IMDR continuously organizes webinar by various renowned industry experts. IMDR has organized a webinar on Thursday, March 10, 2021 at 10:00am. The topic was - Wealth Creation and Investment . The event was attended by PDGM-II students of the IMDR Pune.
The resource person was Mr. Hrishikesh Salvekar, CEO, Wealth Orchard Corporation, Pune Maharashtra. Mr. Salvekar has keen interest in managing equities. He has a knack for learning multiple languages - Persian, Spanish, Russian to name a few. Hrishikesh holds a certificate in French from Alliance Française de Pune, a certificate in German from Pune University, and has earned an advanced diploma in Russian from the Pune University. He has been a world chess federation rated player and two times [consecutive] Central Maharashtra Champion. To satiate his interest in analysis, he bagged a Diploma in Graphology. His analytical approach integrated with life skills helps present a 360-degree view of available options to our clients and coherently guide the team.
He shared his insights on equity market research in a comprehensive way.He explained the concept of wealth , impact of compounding and discounting. He shared his insights on financial planning and various available options for investment. He discussed about risk profiling and asset allocation strategies adopted by wealth managers.
He also focused on intricacies of buying and selling in trade wherein he added information on trade in derivatives and right company to invest in, difference between Hedge funds and Mutual Funds, Fundamental & Technical Analysis .
He demonstrated the benefit of starting financial planning from early age and its long lasting benefits. He emphasized on financial discipline and right time for entry and exit from the financial market.His views and way of explanations was exemplary which kept participants engrossed throughout the session and fun learning. All the students took some invaluable takeaways from this wonderful discussion.
