IMDR has organized a webinar on February 16, 2022 on the topic Online Trading . The webinar was conducted through Microsoft Teams and participants were students of PGDM-I & II. The resource person was Mr. SoumyajyotiGuha, Manager, NSE Academy Ltd.
He shared the developments in the stock markets and significant role played by National Stock Exchange in India. He explained the concept of wealth, impact of compounding and discounting. He shared his insights on financial planning and various available options for investment.
He also focused on intricacies of buying and selling in trade wherein he added information on trade in derivatives and right company to invest in, difference between Hedge funds and Mutual Funds, Fundamental & Technical Analysis.
He demonstrated the benefit of starting financial planning from early age and its long lasting benefits. He emphasized on financial discipline and right time for entry and exit from the financial market.
His views and way of explanations was exemplary which kept participants engrossed throughout the session and fun learning. All the students took some invaluable takeaways from this wonderful discussion.
