On August 05, 2022, IMDR Pune organized three sessions as a part of PGDM-Induction Programme 2022-23. These sessions were organized for PGDM-I and II and the venue was the Amphitheatre of Fergusson College Pune.

For this session the speaker was Mr. Duncan Errol Halstead. He is Private Wealth Banker/Entrepreneur & Recruitment Specialist, running his well-known enterprise, DNA Private Wealth, Pune. Before starting his own enterprise, He worked in industry for 23 years and were associated with various brands like HDFC Bank, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, DBS Bank, Aviva Life Insurance, Reliance Life & ICICI Prudential Insurance in the BFSI sector and Diageo, Pernod Ricard Distillers & Indage Wines in the Alcoholic Beverage Sector. He shared his insights about the approach of students when they are getting ready to appear for an interview. He emphasized on having a positive attitude, one should be ready to accept challenges and one should be always focused and self-motivated. He shared various incidents where critical situations and decision making have been highlighted. He talked about the significance of saving and investing wisely. He shared his profound thoughts on preparations for the interview for internships as well as for job placements.
