As post-graduate students pursuing
a diploma in management, the journey
at college has been an incredible mix
of challenges and rewards. The second
semester has brought a unique situation
where the students are required to balance
their academic responsibilities along with
a summer internship project, all while
studying in a blended mode. Despite the
initial difficulties, the experience has been
enriching and has equipped the students
with skills essential for their future careers.
The college has always encouraged a
holistic approach to education, where
practical exposure is given equal importance
as theoretical knowledge. To achieve this,
the concept of summer internship projects
was introduced to help us gain hands-
on experience and apply their classroom
learning in real-world scenarios. We were
thrilled to learn that we had been selected
organization. However, this also meant that
we had to manage our internship project
and college simultaneously, which was
challenging due to blended learning being
the new normal.
To balance attending online classes,
submitting assignments, and working on the
project, we had to be extremely disciplined
with time management. We prioritized our
tasks and ensured we did not compromise
on either our internship or college work.
Despite the initial challenges, the experience
has been incredibly enriching. The internship
has exposed us to a whole new world of
business and management, allowing us to
understand the practical implications of the
concepts learned in class. It has also helped
us develop essential skills such as teamwork,
communication, and problem-solving,
which we know will be valuable throughout
our careers.
The college has provided necessary
support and resources to help us through
this journey. The faculty members have
been accessible, providing guidance and
feedback whenever needed. The college
has organized several workshops and
guest lectures that have further enhanced
the learning experience. The combination
of practical exposure and theoretical
knowledge has equipped us to face
challenges and has broadened our horizons.
