        IMDR  Pune,  also  known  as  the  Institute  of  Management  Development  and  Research,  is  a
       premier management institute in India. Founded in 1974, IMDR Pune has been among India’s top
       management institutes. The institute offers a two-year postgraduate diploma in management
       (PGDM) and is approved by AICTE and DTE. The PGDM program has been accredited by the
       National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

        Placement Process at IMDR Pune


        The  placement  process  at  IMDR  Pune  is  well-structured  and  organized.  The  institute’s
       dedicated  placement  committee  is  responsible  for  facilitating  the  recruitment  process.
       The committee is run by students, who get exposure to the corporate style of working. The
       committee is involved in training of students in various competencies required for securing a
       great job and also acts as a liaison between the recruiters and the students, and its primary
       objective is to ensure that students get placed in reputed companies.
        The placement process at IMDR Pune begins in the first year of the PGDM program, where
       the students are introduced to various companies through guest lectures, industry visits, and
       summer internships. The students undergo a 6-month embedded internship in industries of
       their choice. This helps the students gain practical knowledge and experience and also helps
       them make informed decisions about their career paths.
        The placement process begins in earnest in the second year of the PGDM program. The
       placement cell invites companies to the campus, and the companies conduct pre-placement
       talks (PPTs) to introduce themselves to the students. This is followed by the submission of
       resumes by the students to the companies they are interested in. The companies shortlist the
       candidates based on their resumes, and the shortlisted candidates are invited for the final
       selection process, which usually consists of group discussions and personal interviews.


        Trends in Placements at IMDR Pune

        Over  the  years,  IMDR  Pune  has  maintained  an  excellent  track  record  of  placements.  The
       institute  has  consistently  achieved  95%  placement,  and  the  average  salary  package  has
