PEER REVIEW POLICY
IMDR's Journal of Management Development and Research follows a double blind
peer review policy (for original research papers and research notes) to uphold the quality
and validity of individual papers and hence the journal. First of all, the manuscript is
subjected to preliminary investigation by the Editor for its alignment with the Aims and
Scope of the journal, for general presentation of the paper, and for weeding out the papers
based on shallow research or plagiarized submissions. If the paper is worth consideration, it
is sent to two reviewers in a double-blind mode by the Editor. Upon evaluation of the
comments by the reviewers, the Editor sends paper back for revision to the corresponding
author or conveys the acceptance or rejection as the case may be. Once the revised version is
received, it is scrutinized for due consideration of comments of the Editor and/or original
reviewers. Depending upon the degree of revision required and technicality of the
comments, rebuttals and responses, the Editor either reaches a decision on his own or
forwards it to the original reviewer(s). The Editor then along with original reviewers decides
about acceptance, further revision, or rejection of the paper and conveys to the
corresponding author accordingly. Thereafter, the paper is edited thoroughly in order to
conform it to style and guidelines of the journal, to correct flaws, if any, in language,
graphics, title, etc. and to enhance readability.
