IMDR is on the verge of completing 50 years of its
existence and has a global alumni network rich in
experience ,spread across domains .Their corporate
experience and developmental journey is a valuable
resource for IMDR .The Alumni Mentoring Programme:
AMETHYST is initiated with the objective to inculcate
in students ,self-awareness ,hunger for knowledge,
strategic thinking and tenacity to achieve goals.
The Alumni Mentors play a crucial role in clarifying
direction ,developing focused goals ,and making the
student’s transition from college to the corporate
world more effective .This format of interaction helps
students link their classroom experience directly with
real world situations ,gain insights into the value
and practical use of their education ,and benefit
from career development advice .This year we are
fortunate to have alumni mentors across batches
from different industries and functional areas to
enrich the mentoring programme.
