About the book
This book is a result of research conducted to understand the
adoption of nancial management techniques by MSMEs in
Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad area. To develop an Aatma-
Nirbhar Bharat, the major hurdles are the challenges faced by
MSMEs of India, which have been illustrated in this book. This
book would be useful for the businesses operating in MSME
sector as well as budding entrepreneurs who can pre-empt the
challenges and adopt better nancial management for
survival, continuity and growth.

About the Authors
Dr. Shruti Nagar is an Assistant Professor in
Accounting and Finance at DES’s IMDR Pune.
She has Ph.D., MBA (Banking & Finance) and M.
Com (Finance), UGC (NET) in her credentials and
teaching experience of 13.5 years in different
reputed universities across India.

Dr. Suraj Chandrakant Kamble is currently
associated as Assistant Professor with DES’s
IMDR Pune. He has done his Ph.D, MBA
(Marketing and HR) and qualied NET. Currently
he is heading Research and Development cell at
IMDR. He has 13 years of blended experience in
corporate and academics.

CA Sweta Jain is a faculty at IMDR. She is a
graduate in commerce and a qualied chartered
accountant and company secretary. She carries
with her 10 years of varied experience in industry
and academia. She has worked with manufactur
-ing MNCs in Pune, has practiced as a chartered
accountant.
