the entrepreneurial initiatives and ambitions at the
grass root.
The study of micro financing and small enterprises
is critical in recognizing their contribution to
development indices at the macro level. It adds to the
knowledge bank of a B -school in terms of financial
support networks, small business models, survival
and growth stories and challenges and pitfalls.
This further renders fertility to entrepreneurial
ecosystem nurturing innovative ideas and ventures.
The Deccan Education Society aspires to provide
comprehensive institutional support to aspiring
entrepreneurs, from concept to commercialization,
contributing to the Nation’s economy. The network
of constituent academic units within its ambit,
leave no stone unturned towards this vision.
I appreciate the efforts of IMDR team for bringing
field experiences to classrooms and policy makers
and congratulate the authors for the compilation.
We shall continue to stride forward in contributing
to research and nation’s development, as always !
