INTRODUCTION

There is a general thought in our social consciousness that the
responsibility for National Security falls in the domain of the
Central government and the Armed Forces, and that others have
little to do with this aspect. This view has become redundant
with the introduction of Hybrid Warfare principally by China
and Russia, and to some extent by the United States in the last
            over three decades.

Besides the military aspect, Hybrid warfare focusses on many
other aspects such as socio-political and economic aspects of
a present or potential adversary in the overall context of the
            geopolitical-cum-geoeconomics environment. In Hybrid
warfare, most of the attacks are of a non-military nature, which
include a combination of Cyberwarfare, Psychological-cum-
Information warfare, and Geoeconomic warfare. Individuals,
systems, and processes are the targets of these attacks. The
            sociopolitical-cum-economic aspect includes the society,
the political system, and the economic policies of a country.
Individual citizens form the society which operates the political
system and implements the economic policies.
               PREVIEW

Despite the availability of variety of excellent natural and
human resources, India undeservedly remains a backward
developing country whose culture, talents, policies, performance,
and leaders, are casually ridiculed/undermined/insulted by
anybody in the world including India. This is because there is
a conflict obstructing India’s march towards becoming a self-
            sufficient respectable economic power.

The conflict is between the ideologies of socialism and
entrepreneurship. It has two dimensions - one is internal, and
the other is external. The internal dimension concerns the
negativity of socialism and positivity of entrepreneurship. The
external dimension relates to India’s negative defensiveness,
            and China’s positive aggressiveness.
