overcome the objections of social activists. If there are problems,
we should overcome them, instead of abandoning the project
because of problems. Right-thinking scholars need to build
such a positive narrative to take India forward. There is an
urgent need to build a fearless assertive narrative that India can
take on China militarily, geoeconomically and geopolitically. A
narrative has been built for past many years that China is too
big to be confronted. This defeatist model has made India take
a supine position in geopolitical-cum- geoeconomic forums
such as the Nuclear Materials Supply Committee. The nihilist
perspective has gone to such depths that a leading national
level party of India signed an MOU with the Communist Party
of China. All this negative mentality must be changed into a
positive aggressive mindset.
The sociopolitical-cum-economic model of China has many
lacunae and vulnerabilities, which should be attacked for
influencing China’s behaviour. India has the technological and
intellectual potential to carry out such attacks. International
finance and trade, Cyber warfare and psychological warfare will
be the tools for this geoeconomic warfare. China’s systems and
processes are becoming more and more complex. According to
the complexity science, a small event can create a catastrophe
in such systems. Scholars should study these systems, find
their weak points, and then prepare a plan of attack. Similarly,
Network science should be employed for undermining China’s
networks of supply-chains, canals, pipelines, electricity,
transportation, communications, and banks.
Finally, there is a need to liberate Tibet for ensuring India’s
water security and territorial integrity. Scholars and thinkers
should work on plans which can lead to such a geopolitical
event of freeing Tibet.
