Induction

2019-21

During the induction programme for 2019-21 batch, IMDR had
the pleasure to host Vice Chairman, DES Governing Body
Shri Mahesh Athavale. Athavale sir told the students about DES,
its structure. He mentioned the importance of character in any
situation. He correlated the management with Indian Mythology.
The session involved a very friendly conversation with many
anecdotes. The students were amazed to hear the Vice chairman
& look forward to many more interactions with him.

The Chairman LMC IMDR, Shri Adesh Gokhale invigorated the
students to be venturesome. He recommended that we create start
ups of our own because more job opportunities will be created
and it will conduce to the burgeoning of our economy. He
suggested the students to become job creators rather than job
seekers. He motivated the students to think creatively. He
emphasized on the core values needed to be successful, which is
respect for every individual.

How would you feel, when someone says “Do you know you
are awesome”?

Students of the batch of 2019-21, were given a warm welcome
with a special address by the Director, Dr. Shikha Jain. She spoke
about the college, the legacies of the institute and inspired the
students.
