A Note from Chairman’s Desk

        Dear Students and Faculty,
I pen this note with great pride and admiration for the exceptional efforts
put forth by the students and faculty of the Institute of Management
Development and Research (IMDR) in crafting an insightful book titled
“Cases in Human Resource Management: Appreciating Organization’s
        biggest assets”.
The completion of this book is a testament to the dedication, passion,
and intellectual rigor that characterizes IMDR’s students and faculty as a
team. By delving into the intricate dynamics of employee rewards, you have
showcased the thought leadership and academic excellence that IMDR is
known for. The culmination of the joint efforts is a rich tapestry of case
studies that not only illuminates the complexities of reward systems but also
provides invaluable insights for organizations grappling with the challenges
of attracting, retaining, and engaging talent.
I am particularly impressed by the way in which the multifaceted nature
of compensation and benefits has been captured. The book goes much
beyond the traditional notions of monetary rewards, unravelling the mosaic
of incentives and perks that contribute to a fulfilling employee experience.
Exploration of Sectoral differences, demographic shifts, and evolving trends
underscores the relevance and forward-thinking nature of this work.
I extend my compliments to every student and faculty member who
invested their time, expertise, and passion into this project. Your dedication,
perseverance, and intellectual curiosity have resulted in a book that will serve
as a valuable resource for academicians, human resource professionals, and
        business leaders alike.
This book stands as a testament to IMDR’s commitment to excellence,
innovation, and the pursuit of knowledge that empowers our students to
become the leaders of tomorrow. This reflects the spirit of IMDR and
reinforces its position as a premier institution dedicated to shaping the
        future of management education.
Once again, I extend my warmest congratulations and heartfelt appreciation
to all those involved in bringing this excellent publication to fruition. These
efforts have made a lasting impact, and I eagerly anticipate witnessing the
continued growth and success that emanates from the remarkable talent and
intellectual prowess of the IMDR family.
        With sincere admiration ,
