CONCLUSION:
The study successfully meets the objectives set for the study to gauge the role of the Industries towards
achieving Sustainable Development Goals. The SGDs identified and presented by the UN were No Poverty,
Zero Hunger, Good Health & Well-being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Clean water and Sanitation,
Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent work & Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure,
Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities & Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production,
Climate Action, Life below Water, Life on land, Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions and Partnerships for the
goals. The aim is to achieve these goals by 2030. The obvious understanding is these goals will be achieved
by the collective effort of various sections of the society. The Industries have demonstrated their role through
their active participations in meeting the social cause. Eventually Industries have contributed on all the goals
however the momentum differs. The study summarizes the following inclination of the Industries towards
the SDGs:
