Major Findings:

Demographics:
• It was found that majority of the beneficiary
respondents belonging to the small business
category were males in the age bracket of 26

years – 35 years, having completed graduation
and belonging to general category.
• It was also found that majority of respondents
have already registered with MSME department

and have obtained their licenses.
• Majority of the respondents sought loans for
the sole proprietorship structure of business,
with less than 10 employees and spread across

Urban, Semi Urban and Rural areas, with
businesses aging less than 5 years.
• According to the respondents from lending
institutions, majority of the respondents belong

to the service sector like Salons, Gymnasiums,
Tailoring, Boutique etc.
Awareness Level
• The level of awareness about the Pradhan

Mantri Mudra Yojana is very good. Majority of
the borrowers are aware about the scheme and
its benefits.
