generated in this tropical region can be carried to other countries around
the world. The next step is to launch more than one satellite into space to
reflect the sun’s rays and generate large amounts of solar energy on Earth.
If all the countries of the world were connected to each other, then all the
countries would have access to the same amount of energy. The sun is
such a great source of energy that it can fully meet the energy needs of the
world. Of course, as the scheme is costly, developed countries will have to
provide a large amount of capital to implement the scheme. However, all
the countries of the world will benefit from this scheme and the problems
like global warming facing the world today will be brought under control
through this scheme. Ref(Glasgo summit communications)
Nuclear power requires one of the metals uranium, plutonium, or
thorium. India has the largest reserves of thorium in the world. India
can generate a lot of energy using thorium. India has also developed the
technology required for this. Another major advantage of thorium-based
energy is that it can be generated on a small scale. This means that a bus,
train, ship, submarine, or aircraft can be powered by thorium-based
energy. Of course, for that, strong security arrangements have to be made.
But by running extensive thorium-based power generation projects, India
can export huge amounts of energy and earn large amounts of foreign
exchange from it. (H.J.Arnikar,1995)
Long term effects of demonetization and GST tax system
Prime Minister Modi had abruptly scrapped Rs 500 and Rs 1,000
notes and shocked the entire country. Due to this scheme, there was a
shortage of currency in the market for about 2 months and even ordinary
citizens had to suffer a lot. But this plan had two major benefits. On the
one hand, the country’s black money was greatly reduced. The reason
why it did not end 100 percent is that many black money launderers kept
their black money safe by depositing their black money in the Jan Dhan
accounts of many poor people. Political leaders, in particular, did this on
a large scale across the country. But even then, the black money that was
depleted stopped the decline of our economy. Another major benefit of
this decision was the control of terrorist activities. Terrorist activities in
Kashmir, Assam and other eastern states and Naxal-affected areas were
mainly carried out because of black money. At least three or four years
after the enactment of the demonetization law, these acts of terrorism
seemed almost paralyzed.
