in large quantities from the dung of these animals. Many other products
can be made from dung. It can include a variety of items such as soap,
shampoo, cardboard, thick paper, light sculptures etc. Cow urine is
extremely useful in the manufacture of many drugs and pesticides. To
date, two European and two American patents have been granted. Cow
urine extract has been shown to be effective in treating chronic diseases
such as cancer. Large scale production of biogas, organic fertilizers,
pesticides and medicines should be implemented in rural areas. Even if
the production of bio gas is streamlined, the energy needs of the rural
areas can be fully met. There is an opportunity to generate a large amount
of energy by installing solar panels and windmills in rural areas. This
energy can be used for transport, tractor operation and for lighting roads
and houses at night. If 6 lakh villages in the country become economically
self-sufficient in terms of energy generation, then there is no doubt that
the country’s economy will get a huge boost. All the necessities like raw
materials, technology and manpower are available in the village. All you
need to do is connect them. Diesel required for tractors for agriculture
has to be imported today. Even if these imports were stopped, a large
amount of India’s foreign exchange would be saved. The energy generated
in the village will definitely be useful to small scale industries and hence
will increase employment generation. Chemical fertilizers are causing
huge damage to farmland today. Instead, the use of organic fertilizers can
also increase production and speed up the agricultural reform process.
The scheme undertaken by the government to increase employment
in urban and rural areas is called ‘Garib Kalyan Yojana’. This plan is
not new. The scheme has been implemented in Gujarat for the last 15
years. Unemployed youth are contacted through government agencies in
villages or urban areas. The minimum capital required for the business is
given to the person without any collateral by asking him what business he
wants to do. All the required documents are also completed through the
government system. After that, every month, the progress of this business
is monitored by the bank and government officials. If there is a problem
in the business, he is given proper guidance. A list of how many loans
have been given to whom is posted in the main squares of the village or
urban areas. It has two good effects. One, there is no possibility of a loan
being taken with another person’s identity. and two, the responsibility
of having his name cleared from the list of borrowers remains with the
borrower. The person struggles to figure out how to get their name off the
board by repaying the loan as soon as possible. Through this scheme, it is
