them in various trades, gave them spiritual heritage and showed them the
way to live a happy and a prosperous life. Evidences of Indian culture
can be traced back to countries in South America, Australia, Japan and
Korea (Sharad Hebbalkar,2014.). But nowhere is there a history of India
enslaving others. There is no history of persecution of people in other
countries. This is because the nature of Indian society is spiritual. It is
based on sacrifice and not on consumption. On the other hand, if you look
at the western world, they carried out destruction, slaughter and looting.
Genocide of tribes in America and Australia, enslavement of millions of
Negroes in Africa. People were forcibly converted to Christianity and the
rulers rejoiced in witnessing the establishment of their kingdom in the
world. The welfare culture created by our forefathers was destroyed by the
invaders who came to steal our wealth. That is why our country had to live
in exile and poverty for a long time. It had to endure all kinds of misery
and suffering. It has been 75 years since India became independent.
Therefore, in order to revive this country, we need to make this society
prosperous and capable in the most natural way.
India has no interest in becoming an economic and strategic
superpower. India wants to create Ramrajya in our country. It is a natural
expectation that every person in the kingdom of Ram will become happy,
prosperous, self-respecting and capable. Ramrajya is described in very
few words,
सर्वेपि सुखिनः सन्ु,
सर्वे सन्ु ननरामया:,
सर्वे भद्ाणि िश्यन्ु,
मा कश्चित् दुिभाग् भर्ेत् |
If our population is 140 crores today, then there are 140 crores of
problems in this society. To liberate our society from all these problems is
to establish Ramrajya. The great economist Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay
had said that the exact purpose of our economy can be stated as,
The ultimate goal of our economy is to ensure that everyone in the
community meets all their needs and is able to help others.(Pandit
Deendayal Upadhyay,2016)
In this definition, it is natural that the fundamental problems faced by
every person should be solved. One is always allowed to earn as much as
he can depending on his capacity. The only condition is that , the method
of earning should be honest and far away from social exploitation. At the
same time we must develop a mentality of each and every person that
whatever surplus he earns, over and above his needs should be devoted
