manufacturing is important, education is important, entertainment
is important, so everything is important, everywhere say ultimately
the objective of automation and digitization is just for the sake of
people, technology has to come up with a return on investment and
then only it is worth it.

looked at earlier and is targeted now because of the Independent

areas because in India there are haves and have nots, so, all I have to
say is we are having the IT and because they are available but what
about have nots who will go there and we still have it possible in our
country.
So, how will you empower them? Because I consider technology
as instrument you look at women empowerment we always talk
about women empowerment. According to me, if you make this
lady literate and help her to become self-reliant and train her to
use technology, then, she’s empowered, then she is not dependent
because what happens is, this lady is dependent on someone so
whatever this other person says she has to do and the root cause is
she’s not aware about the opportunities that exist.

Q. How can information technology and other technological development
be the accelerator towards five-trillion-dollar ambition?
A. I think we discussed some time back that, learning foreign language
is very important because demographic dividend is there, India is
the youngest country developed world is aging very fast so today
unfortunately we will consider foreigners as West so we look at USA,
Canada, North America, UK and somewhat Australia this is now we
have to look at this sixth option very seriously that is Japan, Japan’s
average age is 75 plus they indicate India as a strategic partner.
Getting Japanese visa is very easy, the only catch is that first you
must work on soft skills and later on technology, because it is
changing very fast hence, constant upskilling is necessary, in hard
skills many students and parents look at degrees as their goal and
they miss out on a real bigger goal you see, just the strategy this is
just a place where you learn something get new inputs but increase
times upskilling and learning is a constant field even and how he
becomes self-learner then things will become very easy and if we
