Q. Can the growth models in the world such as Israel, China, etc. be
emulated in India, to support the economic growth?
A. India is a very different country and our challenges are different than
other countries So what worked in Japan or China may not work
here, our needs are different our people are different our attitudes
are different so we should look at our challenges our opportunity
because solving that problem is an opportunity. We should not
replicate what others have done.
Q. What can be done to become a developed nation?
A. First thing is 100% literacy, you cannot become a developed nation
with 30-40% illiteracy, things that on war footing where your
technology can come it’s 100% literacy is a must then come for 100%
infrastructure so now what is definition of essentials is changing.
Earlier it was roti, kapda, makan, now you add bijli and bandwidth
to it.
So, Roti, kapda, makaan should be given to all, then we create an
ecosystem where on one hand we have problems and on the other
hand we provide solutions to those problems.
Q. There are hackathons held where problems are discussed and
solutions evolve.
A. See it is happening in a I will say islands, in small places but it should
happen on a larger scale.
Q. Cybercrimes and cyber frauds are on the rise, especially from Chinese
apps. What measures should be taken to prevent such frauds and
crimes protect our vital interests?
A. This is an interesting question but let me tell you that crime is a
human emotion and if you look at old literature’s puranas he knows
where there in every era criminals were there in so crime is a human
emotion and making easy money by cheating somebody it’s there
in every society in every religion in everything so now what has
happened earlier whenever pick pocketers or I remember when I
was a small child my grandmother had told me they were home
makers and at 12:00 o’clock when men are supposed to be working
and they there was a gang which used to say that we will double
your gold ornaments. In Pune city, why did it happen, there was
