assisted mode of e-learning uses the synchronous tools, wherein, to enhance teaching
and make learning effective the course website and well-designed tools are used.
           Objectives of the Study

           1. To identify the perception of the students towards e-learning during Covid-19
                  lockdown phase.

           2. To check whether perception of the students differ with reference to
                  demographics.
           Methodology
The present study is a descriptive type of research. The data has been collected in the
month of April 2020 when all educational institutions in India, were temporarily closed
due to country wide lockdown pertinent to Covid-19.The secondary as well as primary
data sources have been used .The primary data has been collected through online
survey .The self-administered questionnaire with close ended questions has been
designed and used for online survey. The questionnaire comprised of four sections:
demographic prole, use of technology, perceived usefulness of e-learning, and the
intention to use e-learning in future. The present study adopted the scales developed
and used in Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) proposed by Davis (1989) with some
of the required modications. The data has been collected from 182 respondents
located in different states of India. A convenience sampling and snow ball sampling
methods have been used. The respondents were the students who are using e-learning
resources by choice or by compulsion during this lockdown phase.

The ve Point Likert-type scales has been used to identify perception of the
respondents towards e- learning. For the analysis of the data tables, pie charts, bar
diagrams and cross tabulation have been used. The mean score has been used to
assess the Likert scale based responses. The present study is limited to perception of
the students and attitude of e-learning only during lockdown phase pertaining to
           Covid-19 pandemic in India.

           Data Analysis and Interpretation
The questionnaire comprised of four sub-sections. The data analysis has been done
           section wise.
