degree or diploma programs and are expected to start their working life after
completion of these courses.
Use of Technology
In today’s world digital technologies have emerged as catalyst for rapid economic and
citizen empowerment. It is assumed that students are aware of availability of many
platforms offering e-learning opportunities. In this study an attempt has been done to
know the reason behind attending online sessions during lockdown period. Majority
(49%) of the respondents said that they are attending online sessions in order to
complete their Regular Degree/Diploma Program which basically has face to face
teaching based curriculum.18% of the respondents were those who are completing
their online assignments only, which is an important evaluation component of the
course which they are pursuing. 32% respondents were those who are engaged in
online mode of learning with a motive to upgrade their skill set with the help of online
certication programs.
Most of the times, for attending online session 43% of the respondents used
laptops/desktops whereas 57% respondents used their smart phones. It shows the
