HR Summit
IMDR will be presenting “HReality Bytes: The Great Reset”, curated by @upohan
and powered by @NHRD Pune, which is an HR summit that talks about the
changing paradigm of HR and will address the re-skilling requirements for HR
professionals given the Next Practices that will come in vogue in the not-so-
distant future.
The Welcome address was given by Dr. Giribala Dewasthale, Associate Professor
IMDR.
The keynote speaker for the event is Shri Adil Malia a seasoned HR professional
who is the CEO and Managing Partner of The Firm.
Adil Malia spoke in lengthy Cognitive Courage and also stressed to destroy
the script that says change is a villain. According to him, change is the hero and
we need to destroy the status quo narrative. HR cannot win wars of tomorrow
with weapons of yesterday. He emphasised that people are the most long-term
sustainable persona.

2. Diversity, Inclusion beyond Optex.
3. Are you building meaningful employee experience journeys- Value of life,
wellness, etc.

Eminent HR professionals shall be gracing the event and participating in various
interactive segments. The event will have interesting content like Heads or Tails,
where the top HR will face off against each other.
The Face off session 1- Work from Anywhere Vs. Work from Office- Mr. Rajendra
Khembhavi (Employee Relations Head - Tech Mahindra) supported Work from
Anywhere & Ms.Nidhi Dhanju (Global CHRO - Praj Industries) supported Work
from Office. Ms. Nitasha Dusi (HR Director @ Atidiv), respected alumni from IMDR
acted as the moderator for the event. The following points were debated by the
panellist.
• Manufacturing Vs. Service Sector.
• HR can’t sit at home if there are employees in the office/ mfg. Ops.
• More than 70% people want to come to office as they are fed up with WFH.
• Industry specific norms & practices.
• Equating & giving employees a fair working space.
• How do you relate with them carries a lot of importance.
• Liberalization of workforce- More towards Project-based work.
