                The Face off session 2- Work Life Balance Vs. Slogging Mindset- Mr. Anand Khot
               (CHRO – Pharmarack Technology), supported Work Life Balance Vs. Mr. Vikas
               Bhatia (Managing Director - Rieco Industries) supported Slogging Mindset. Ms.
               Bisakha Ketkar (Human Resources Manager at Sears Holdings India) was the
               moderator of the session.
                •     Work is nothing but life.
                •     Razor Sharp Focus.
                •     You can still make use of your time though you are anywhere in a meeting,
               work or so forth.
                •     Working for long hours doesn’t mean you neglect your family.
                •     Prioritising work.
                •     Priority to Work Life Balance.
                •     Work Life Imbalance is the 5th largest reason of death.
                •     Spiritual Mindfulness.
                •     41% people say that they are either stressed or very stressed with their
               work.
                •     Employee Counselling is a must.


                Another segment of the event would be Between the Lines, which began with a
               book review done by Mr. Eklavya Malhotra (Engagement Manager Upohan). The
               book infocus was “Leaders in the making” by  Arvind N. Agarwal and  T. V. Rao-
               Father of HR in India. The USP of the books were No.1 bestseller on Amazon with
               a note by Dave Ulrich. The book consisted of Evidence based insights. It is a very
               important book for People Managers. The book put forward the following points:
                •     Nature & Nurture play a very significant role.
                •     Stepping forth & accepting your mistakes.
                •     OCTAPACE
                      O- Openness
                      C- Confrontation
                      T- Trust
                      A- Authenticity
                      P- Proactive.
                •     584 Behavioural Competencies, trimmed down to 42 & finally closed at 19
               Competencies.
                •     “Develop your own ecosystem of values, your own vision of the functions
               that you are called to perform in your life, both professional & social”.


                The next session was a panel discussion moderated by Mr. Advait Kurlekar (CEO,
               Upohan  Management  Consultants).  The  panel  consisted  of  Ms.  Uma  Ganesh
               (CEO - Global Talent Track), Mr. Raman Raina (HR Director APAC – Honeywell) and
               Ms. Priyanka Vanjari (HR Head - PN Gadgil Jewellers), who gave us great points
               to ponder in their discussion of leadership, which covered the ideal definition of
               leader, role of ego in leadership, and women in leadership.
