2.3 Premier Handball League
By the end of the 1800s, Germany and Scandinavia
were the birthplaces of handball. Handball is regarded
as a game of enthusiasm, speed, skill, and fitness all
over the world. It's referred to as the Olympics' fastest
sport. The International Handball Federation (IHF)
has identified India as the next major handball
destination. The Indian handball team, consisting of
17 players, including 3 international players and 14
Indian players, is ranked in the top 50 worldwide. In
June 2023, we launched our Flagship Season, which featured six teams from six different states. In
addition to providing the best possible Sports Entertainment League, the Premier Handball League
is dedicated to collaborating with the South Asian Handball Federation (SAFH).
The Handball Association of India (HAI) and the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) work together
to guarantee the grassroots growth of handball in India. Exclusively licensed by the Asian Handball
Federation, the South Asian Handball Federation, and the Handball Association India, our shared
objective is to guarantee the worldwide success of Indian handball and handball athletes and to
diligently work toward our National Team's participation in both the Asian Games and the
upcoming Olympics.
