As a Pune native, the name IMDR was already
familiar to me, but little did I know that it
would become a defining chapter in my life.
Choosing to pursue my postgraduate studies
in management at IMDR was a natural decision,
given its rich legacy and reputation.
Established in 1974, IMDR holds the distinction
of being the oldest B-school in the city, and its
charm is undeniable. Stepping into the institute,
one is greeted by the hall of fame board,
proudly displaying the names of successful
students. And then there’s the giant wisdom
tree, symbolizing the nurturing environment My journey at IMDR began in 2017, in DM-1
within. Division B. Our batch was a diverse mix of
mischievous souls from all corners of India, but
amidst the mischief, there was a strong sense
of unity. Lectures were not just about learning
but also about laughter and camaraderie. The
curriculum was designed to prepare us for the
real world of business, and every lesson was a
blend of fun and practicality.
