Student to Alumni - The Journey

Batch 1986-88

Having spent the most memorable period
of 2 years (1986-1988) in IMDR while doing the
MDBA Full Time program has left an indelible
impression on every student of the batch.

It was a pleasant experience to reconnect
with the Alma Mater via Alumni meets over the
last few years. One feels sheer nostalgia and an
encouraging feeling to see the Institute prosper
and keep up with the vision of providing quality
management education in keeping up with
Indian ethos. It is good to see the enthusiastic
staff and students putting in their best efforts
to keep abreast with the ever-changing and
evolving management scenarios.
The young blood is a dedicated lot and quite
focused and talented to achieve success in
all fields of management. It was very nice to
know that awards are given to innovative,
entrepreneurial students and all help is
provided by staff, mentors for start-up ideas,
and incubation with proper guidance and
encouragement.
The Institute has managed very well during
the pandemic times under the able leadership
of the Director, Dr Shikha Jain and she has
maintained the alumni connect with great
fervour. We are ever grateful to the Alumni
Committee for hosting us with such warmth.

May IMDR flourish with astounding success
in the field of management education, my
earnest best wishes for the same.
