Introduction:
Ayurveda, a cornerstone of the Indian knowledge system, is an ancient science of life
and health that originated over 5,000 years ago. Rooted in Vedic traditions, Ayurveda
offers a holistic approach to health, emphasizing balance between the body, mind, and
spirit. It is based on the understanding that every individual is a unique combination
of the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and ether—manifesting in three primary
energies or doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These doshas govern physical, mental,
and emotional health, and maintaining their balance is key to overall well-being.
Ayurveda’s philosophy extends beyond
just physical health, advocating for a
harmonious relationship with nature,
sustainable living, and a balanced
lifestyle. It stresses the importance of diet,
lifestyle choices, sleep, and mental peace
in maintaining this balance. Ayurvedic
practices are not only centered around
healing illness but also on prevention,
emphasizing the alignment of one’s daily
routines with the rhythms of nature.
In the context of holistic management,
Ayurveda offers a profound insight into
integrating well-being at all levels of
an organization. By applying Ayurvedic
