example, being the Class Representative helped me
in up skilling my knowledge about understanding
people's behavior. Another thing I learnt is the way
in which a person’s behavior differs drastically in
situations. In addition to that, situations do fall
without taking your permission and especially the
ones that you least predicted, come up right in front
of you. Situations do make us take decisions.

Learning is definitely a continuous process and it is
crucial to be an active individual. This is because, if
one acts passive, then bringing about any change in
one's personality reduces or the speed at which one
changes is low. Thus, by carrying rigidity, dilemma,
confusion or pessimism and other such negative
feelings before facing any situation would lead to a
decreased speed of learning. By involving yourself
in, say, student committees at the college level, can
lead to a dynamic transformation of one's existing
leadership skills such as better decision making in
critical situations, coordinating and managing
people, being collaborative in the approach and
connecting with the peers. One gets the knowhow
of decision making only when one has been
through a journey of diverse experiences.
The opportunities that the institute provides help us
in becoming balanced individuals who carry the
right attitude along with an increased aptitude.
Taking up responsibilities enables one to truly
become capable of handling complex situations
and solving them faster without errors. All of this
combined with the support provided by faculties,
who continuously motivate us to do better is a
cherry on the cake for a better learning experience.
