IMDR’s Journal of Management Development & Research 2023-24
two to four weeks. It involves a set of predefined roles, including the Product Owner, Scrum

Master, and Development Team, who collaborate closely to deliver incremental value to the

customer at the end of each sprint. Scrum is characterized by its flexibility and adaptability to
              changing requirements.

eXtreme Programming (XP): XP prioritizes practices such as pair programming, test-driven

development, continuous integration, and frequent releases to ensure high-quality software delivery.

It emphasizes customer satisfaction, simplicity, and feedback loops, promoting collaboration among
team members and stakeholders throughout the development process.

Kanban: Kanban visualizes workflow using a board with columns representing different stages of

development. It limits work in progress to optimize flow and focuses on continuous delivery by

encouraging teams to pull work as capacity allows. Kanban fosters transparency, flexibility, and
efficiency, enabling teams to identify bottlenecks and improve their processes continuously.

              (Williams, 2010)

Feature Driven Development (FDD): FDD is an iterative and incremental approach that
emphasizes building software features incrementally based on domain modeling. It revolves around

five key processes: developing an overall model, building a features list, planning by feature,
designing by feature, and building by feature. FDD promotes collaboration, clarity, and

accountability among team members. (Manish Kumar, & R. K. Dwivedi, 2020)

Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM): DSDM is an agile framework that emphasizes

user involvement, frequent delivery, and the importance of business value. It provides a set of
principles and practices for managing and delivering projects, focusing on delivering usable

software within fixed time and budget constraints. DSDM encourages active stakeholder

involvement and prioritizes the early identification and resolution of issues.

              Findings
The concept of the agile workforce is considered pivotal in establishing an agile organization,

which excels in responding to environmental changes and turbulence effectively. While previous

research on agility has primarily focused on organizational aspects, there has been a notable lack of
attention to the workforce. This research paper addresses a notable gap by presenting findings from

the initial empirical investigation into how organizational agility requirements influence the

                                                                                                               374
