3.2. Research Design

Secondary Data Research: The design of this research is exclusively
hinged on the collection and analysis of secondary data. This signifies

that no primary data, like surveys, interviews, or field observations,
were obtained. Instead, pre-existing literature, academic studies,
reports, and other publications furnished the needed data.

Rationale: The adoption of a secondary data approach provides

        multiple advantages:

Comprehensiveness: Numerous studies have previously explored
various facets of millet production in Maharashtra. This wealth of
        information grants a holistic perspective.

Time and Cost-Effective: Leveraging existing literature and data sets

proves more efficient and cost-effective than initiating primary data
        collection.

Historical Context: Secondary sources can offer a historical
viewpoint, facilitating the analysis of trends over periods.
