Mental Health Awareness Session
HOPE Events had organized a session at IMDR on
“Mental Health and Well Being” for creating
awareness on suicide and depression. At IMDR, they
had a fun interactive session, wherein they brought to
our notice about the symptoms of depression and what
we can do to salvage our friends from their abject
misery if we come to know of their deplorable
condition. The event ended with a wonderful musical
performance by HOPE team.

Tree Plantation

With a vow to save environment, students & staff of IMDR planted saplings. The plantation drive was carried out on
IMDR campus. The students planted saplings on their very first day of college, accentuating the significance of
protecting the environment.
Students did the activity in groups and christened the trees. After the conclusion of the activity there were happy faces
around, everyone felt proud as it was an achievement to contribute to the Mother Earth.

Discussion On Public Policy

Seminar on “Devendra Development Doctrine”
September 9, 2019
Students of Management got the ideas related to
formulation of public policy & implementation of the same
from the experts during the special program titled
‘Devendra Development Doctrine’. The program was
jointly organized by the Deccan Education Society and the
Rotary Club of Pune South at the Fergusson College
Amphitheatre. The program was an attempt to discuss and
document various issues faced by the State Government &
how were they dealt. This event was an attempt to educate the students about governance of Maharashtra state.
Mr. Saurabh Rao – Municipal Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation, Ms. Shweta Shalini – Advisor of CM
Devendra Fadnavis, Dr. Deepak Shikarpur – IT Expert, Dr. Radhakrishnan Pillai – Management expert and the author of
popular book ‘Corporate Chanakya, Mr. Mayuresh Didolkar – Writer and Journalist shared their thoughts on the
leadership style of Maharashtra CM. Dr. Sharad Kunte, Chairman of the Deccan Education Society and Mr. Abhijit Jog,
President of Rotary Club of Pune South were also present.
