Entreprenuership Workshop

The Enterpreneurship & Innovation cell of IMDR organized a Start-Up Workshop on the 27th of July 2019. The
workshop was organized for those who have pretensions to being entrepreneurs. The guest speaker for this occasion was
Mr. Mayank Rajput; Founder & CEO, RoboManiax Edutech Pvt Ltd.
Dr. Abhijeet Shivane introduced the speaker to the gathering. The speaker shared the various phases of his journey,
which included the graduation scenario, the beginning of his start-up in 2013 and the hardships he faced to sustain the
start-up. The speaker, in his talk, illuminated the importance of team building, passion and tenacity required, awareness
of availability of resources, problem solving skills, difficulties about employment market. He also told the students
about the governmental support for startups. He told that connectivity is also an important aspect of being an
entrepreneur. The crux of his soliloquy was

“ JOSH KHATAM NAHI HONA CHAHIYE. ”
The workshop ended with a Q&A session where students put forth their doubts about idea, sources of wherewithal for
the establishment of the business etc. The speaker answered these questions by emphasizing on the clarity of idea. He
said “With every problem there is a solution & the solution is the idea.” His advice was also for thinking about the
problem and solution on a global scale. The speaker concluded with the most important advice, that in order to get
motivated, one needs to putting ideas into action; watching videos about it won’t make a difference.
