Employee engagement is a multifaceted goal for organizations, encompassing elements from initial placement
to an employee’s departure. This holistic perspective involves addressing role clarity, learning opportunities,
rewards, recognition, grievance resolution, and employee health and wellness initiatives. Using AI in
employee engagement facilitates equitable achievement of these objectives. Customized learning and
development, real-time health queries, and virtual assistants for policy comprehension showcase the potential
of AI in enhancing engagement. The incorporation of AI enables unbiased ongoing feedback systems
grounded in factual assessments. HR can utilize AI tools to establish measurable objectives for employees,
simplifying continuous feedback processes and yielding enhanced outcomes. Moreover, AI proves
instrumental in managing open feedback, suggestions, and concerns garnered through online surveys,
analyzing vast datasets to predict engagement levels, turnover rates, and future performance trends. The
synthesis of these AI-driven approaches contributes significantly to fostering comprehensive employee
engagement in organizational settings (Ginu George, Mary Rani Thomas, 2019).
Role of Artificial intelligence (AI) in Human resource management.
Role of AI in Recruitment –
The process of recruiting and attracting suitable candidates to work for a company is known as recruitment. It
involves sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates to fill job vacancies, ensuring that they possess the
necessary skills, qualifications, and attributes to meet the organizational needs and objectives. Recruitment
can be conducted through various channels, including internal promotions, transfers, external advertisements,
referrals, and other sources. The goal of recruitment is to build a pool of potential candidates and stimulate
their interest in applying for available positions, ultimately contributing to the organizations effective
functioning and performance (Dr. RA Rathi, 2018)
As the Fourth Industrial Revolution gets underway, HRM dynamically adjusts to the significant role of
artificial intelligence (AI). (Geetha R and Bhanu Sree Reddy D,2018) . Approximately 40% of companies,
including industry leaders like IBM and Facebook, are using AI tools like Mya and Arya for recruitment
processes. (Amla, M., & Malhotra, P. M. 2017). This integration spans screening, interviews, and on boarding,
enhancing efficiency and ensuring data security. The utilization of Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
significantly reduces manual workload, while cloud productivity solutions and AI tools such as Engazify,
Obie, and Duolingo contribute to streamlined workplace learning. According to Edwin B. Flippo, recruitment
is the process of finding potential employees and motivating them to submit job applications to the company.
HR managers play a central role in this process, managing internal and external recruitment through methods
like promotion, transfer, advertising, and referrals. The research underscores the critical role of digital
transformation in remaining competitive in the evolving digital era. Companies such as SAT, Facebook, and
