In the realm of green technology, women entrepreneurs are passionate, innovative and propelling positive
change towards a more sustainable future. Their contributions time period from developing new green
technologies to establishing sustainable businesses and fostering community engagement in environmental
initiatives. By leveraging their unique perspectives and skills, they are tackling critical challenges and paving
the way for a more sustainable India.
This research paper delves into the Opportunities for women entrepreneurs in sustainability and green
technology, awareness of government Policies into aspiring women entrepreneurs in the same industry. It
explores the contributions of current female pioneers in the field, their impact on environmental sustainability,
and the aspirations and experiences of aspiring female leaders interested in this domain.
As governments increasingly prioritize green jobs to create new economic opportunities in response to the
challenges of climate change and economic downturn, supportive structures are being established to assist
entrepreneurs in capitalizing on the green enterprise markets and the growing environmental consciousness
among consumers.
Overview of Viksit Bharat 2047
Viksit Bharat 2047 depicts the Indian government's strategic plan to promote the development of the nation
through a range of initiatives. This vision places significant importance on achieving environmental stability,
in addition to promoting economic growth, social progress, and improved governance. A Viksit Bharat aims
to have a clean and green environment to protect India’s biodiversity and natural resources. The environment
must be able to reduce the impact of climate change based on restoration, preservation and persistence.
Environmental Sustainability and Green technology are vital subject matter when plotting the future of nation,
and merging women pioneers along with sustainable development aligning with the theme of ‘Gateway to the
Future’.
History of women Entrepreneurship in sustainability
The idea of sustainability is linked to both what should be enlarged, such as the economy, people, and the
community, as well as what must be preserved, such as the environment, resources, and the community. The
World Commission on Environment and Development, or Brundtland Commission, used the phrase
"sustainable development" in 1987. The goal of this idea is to resolve the existing problems ensuring that
upcoming generations can meet their needs by using resources responsibly. In the 1970s, the Indian
