Policies and schemes in India aim to support women entrepreneurs and boost their overall growth. The
government and various organizations have introduced projects, incentives, and promotional activities. Some
notable schemes include:
- TREAD scheme for women by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
- Priyadarshini Yojana Scheme by Bank of India.
- Support to Training and Employment Programme for Women (STEP) under the Ministry of Women and
Child Development.
- Indira Mahila Yojana.
- Mahila Samiti Yojana.
- SBI's Stree Shakti Scheme.
- Women's Development Corporations (WDCs).
- Marketing of Non-Farm Products of Rural Women (MAHIMA).
- Assistance to Rural Women in Non-Farm Development (ARWIND) schemes.
- Swayam Siddha under the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
Circumstances met by females in the business in the nation includes primary concerns after household
responsibilities, limited education facilities, societal biases, lack of confidence, the pressure to please
everyone, and the pursuit of perfection in all tasks. Women also face challenges related to political freedom.
Women entrepreneurs contribute significantly to India's economy by maximizing capital growth, increasing
per capita income, creating favourable employment chances, encouraging steady regional growth, and
improving their way of livelihood.)
Data Collection - For this research we have conducted surveys online through online questionnaires that are
aimed at emerging female entrepreneurs in the green technology industry. Sample size is ‘80’. To study
existing women entrepreneurs in this industry we have reviewed case studies, past interviews, research papers
and articles on the same.
Data Interpretation – As per data collection, interpreting data by statistical graphs.
