the lead. While the classic picture shows homemakers, the reality is far more daring.
Their trip, however, did not start today. It has historical origins, with Kalpana Saroj leading the way as India's
first female entrepreneur. Kalpana Saroj shattered stereotypes in 2001. She turned a struggling business
around, proving women can excel in the corporate world. Her success inspired many others. Like Aditi Gupta,
who had created Menstrupedia to educate and empower millions of girls and women. Then there's Shaikh
Razia, who transformed traditional Mahua flowers into healthy snacks, empowering tribal women. And Ela
Bhatt's SEWA union continues to uplift countless self-employed women. The Sustainable Development Goals
are closely related to the goals of gender equality and women's encouragement, and women are essential to
accomplishing these goals. Women clearly build enterprises based on their comprehension, exposure,
contribution, exceptional solutions, and environmental influence, according to literature of female
entrepreneurship and sustainability.
Objectives
Through this comprehensive analysis, the paper aims to:
1. Examine the innovative work of women entrepreneurs today who are leading the way in green and
sustainable technology and evaluate their influence.
2. Explore the interest, aspirations, and awareness of aspiring women entrepreneurs in the green technology
and sustainable industry.
Research methodology
To understand women driving green technology, this paper depicts both existing research and fresh insights.
1. The secondary data by analysing the reports, articles, and news to see contributions of leading women
entrepreneurs and how they're making a difference.
2. The primary data collected from the questionnaire depicts the aspiring women in green technology, their
interests, goals, and understanding.
This combo approach gives a complete picture of women's impact in this important field.
Literature Review
The future economy requires a focus on environmental sustainability and green technology. It is crucial to
combine female entrepreneurship with sustainability to meet the needs of the current generation. The
advancement of green technology and sustainable practices in trend in recent days. Various researches have
been done to find the role of women entrepreneurs in this domain, particularly in the context of India (Haldar,
2020). These studies aim to inspect the opportunities and hurdles faced by women in starting the small-scale
business in the renewable energy industry, as well as their possibilities as entrepreneurs, coordinators,
