                3.  Examine  how  Kotak  Bank's  CSR  initiatives  in  education  and  livelihood  enhancement

                   correspond with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the overall vision of Viksit

                   Bharat 2047.

                 4.  Data collection and analysis

              Using a supplementary  data analysis methodology, this  paper examines the  yearly CSR reports
              from Kotak Bank during the last five years. This method assures validity and trustworthiness of

              data utilized in study by looking directly at original sources. A thorough examination of Kotak

              Bank's CSR initiatives, with an emphasis on programs that improve livelihood and education, will
              be part of the investigation. This study attempts to obtain insights into the development, methods

              of  implementation,  results,  and  difficulties  of  Kotak  Bank's  CSR  initiatives  in  important  areas
              through methodical data extraction and analysis.



              4.1 History of Kotak Mahindra Bank


              Established in 1985 as Kotak Mahindra Finance Limited by Uday Kotak, Kotak Mahindra Bank
              Ltd. began its banking activities in 2003 following the acquisition of a banking license from the

              Reserve Bank of India. It began by specializing in corporate finance and bill discounting before
              branching out into investment banking, brokerage, asset management, and insurance, among other

              financial services. It grew organically and via strategic acquisitions to become one of India's top
              private sector banks. By adding wealth management, digital banking products, and retail banking

              to its portfolio throughout time, it has strengthened its position as a major participant in India's

              financial industry.
