5. The findings indicate that individuals use digital libraries, scoring an average of 2.3875 out of 5,
potentially due to pressure from professors or peers. The observation suggests a moderate level
of influence from academic and social circles in motivating the use of digital library resources.
6. The research question regarding the preference for digital or physical resources in the library
yielded observations indicating a neutral response from users, with a score of 3.175 out of 5. This
suggests a balanced perspective, indicating that users are generally open to and comfortable with
both digital and physical formats, rather than favouring one over the other.
7. When asked about concerns or risks associated with using digital libraries, the observations
revealed the following percentages of respondents expressing specific worries:
- Data Security: 20%
- Reliability: 42.5%
- Health Hazards: 37.5%
These findings emphasize concerns regarding data security, doubts about the dependability of digital
resources, and a significant portion linking health risks with the utilization of digital libraries.
8. The research question aimed to understand participants' intentions regarding future use of digital
libraries. The observations revealed a high score of 4.0125 out of 5, indicating a strong
inclination among respondents to continue using digital libraries in the future.
Suggestions
1. Enhance Awareness & education Programs: Develop and implement awareness programs to highlight
the benefits and features of digital libraries, aiming to increase user understanding and utilization.
2. Continuous Improvement of User Interface: Invest in the continuous improvement of the user interface
of digital libraries to maintain a high level of user satisfaction. Regular feedback mechanisms can be
implemented to address user preferences and concerns.
3. Address Concerns Related to Pressure: Implement initiatives to address concerns related to the
perceived influence from professors or peers, emphasizing the individual's autonomy in choosing library
resources based on personal preferences and needs.
4. Maintain a Balanced Resource Provision: Continue maintaining a balanced approach to resource
provision, ensuring that both digital and physical formats are readily available to accommodate diverse
user preferences.
5. Data Security and Reliability Measures: Digital libraries should have strong security measures to be
safe and trustworthy. It's important to continuously work on improving the reliability of digital resources
over time.
