Awareness and Outreach: The research will also consider the
awareness and outreach efforts of government schemes, examining
how well information about these initiatives is disseminated and
        understood by the target beneficiaries.

Comparative Analysis: The study may include a comparative
analysis of different government schemes to identify best practices
and lessons that can be applied in other regions or for other crops.

The research scope outlined above is designed to provide a
comprehensive and detailed analysis of government schemes for
millet production and processing in India, to enhance the knowledge
base and contribute to evidence-based policy recommendations for
the sustainable development of millet agriculture in the country.

        2.1 Literature Review

Millet, a resilient and nutritious crop, holds promise in addressing
food security and sustainability challenges in India. Government

schemes designed to support millet production and processing
are vital components of agricultural policy. This literature review
examines these schemes, exploring their design, implementation, and
impact. By analyzing existing research and policy documents, we aim
to provide a comprehensive understanding of their effectiveness and

areas for improvement. Ultimately, our review seeks to contribute
valuable insights to enhance the role of millets in sustainable
agriculture, food security, and improved livelihoods for smallholder

farmers, while also serving as a model for similar initiatives in other
        regions.
