Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY):

        PMKSY focuses on improving water-use efficiency in agriculture.
        Farmers cultivating millets can benefit from water conservation and

        irrigation-related schemes under PMKSY.

        National Food Processing Mission (NFPN):

        NFPN aims  to  promote  food processing  and  value  addition  in
        agriculture. Millet processing units can avail of financial support and
        technical assistance under this mission.


        Mid-Day Meal Scheme:

        Millets have been included in the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in several
        states to enhance  the nutritional  value  of school meals.  This can

        create a market for millet producers.

        Startup India:

        Entrepreneurs  interested  in millet  processing  and  value  addition
        can  benefit  from  the  Startup  India  initiative,  which  offers  various
        incentives and support for startups in the agri-food sector.


        NABARD Schemes:

        The National Bank for  Agriculture and Rural Development
        (NABARD) offers financial assistance and credit facilities to farmers

        and entrepreneurs involved in millet  production and processing
        through various schemes.

        production and processing is paramount in our agricultural landscape.
