Seema (2015), in her research paper highlights
the offerings like Micro Credit Schemes (MCS),
refinancing to RRBs/Cooperative banks and impact
of MUDRA to Indian economy. The paper attempts
to find out the scheme offered by MUDRA under
PMMY and their impacts. The study found that it
enhances liquidity of the Indian economy, increases
the production capacity, creates employment
opportunities, increases share in GDP and helps in
women empowerment.
Verma S. (2015) has explained that the design of
MUDRA scheme will not only address the financial
problems of MSMEs, but it will also provide moral
support to the youth and motivate them to become
entrepreneurs.
R. Rupa (2017) concluded in the study that the
MUDRA scheme is successful in Tamil Nadu. It is
found that the MFIs have contributed substantially
to increase the number of accounts financed under
the PMMY.
Rajeev and Dhirender (2017) have studied the
impact of the MUDRA scheme on micro and small
printing firms situated in a semi urban area. The
respondents were the owners of micro and small
printing units near Haryana, India. The study
aimed to understand what changes this MUDRA
