An attempt has been made to know how much
investment has been made by the respondents from
manufacturing sector as well as from service sector in
the equipments. In manufacturing sector 45% of the
sample had investment in equipment between INR 25-50
lakhs, 34% of the units covered had investment between
INR 50 lakhs to 01 crore, 9% of them had investment in
equipment between INR 2-5 crore and 12% of them had
investment between INR 5-10 crores. It reveals that
majority of the sample units from manufacturing sector
have invested between Rs. 25-50 lakhs in the equipment.

Majority 69% of the sample from service sector had
investment in equipment between INR 10-50 lakhs, 16%
of the units covered had investment between INR 50
lakhs to 01 crore, 4% of them had investment in
equipment between INR 1-2 crore. (Figure No. 5)
