It will be seen as a perk rather than just as an option to choose when
required. Example :- Sick leave is taken when an employee fall sick similarly
WFH should be given as an option to employees when they need it. WFH may
reduce company’s employee attrition rate resulting in saving on hiring costs.
It may lead to lack of bonding amongst employees.
5. It was observed that during lockdown
period there was a drastic reduction in
the trafc. Considering this aspect as
well as trafc issues in the metro cities
like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and
Pune, it was asked that whether work
from home can become an alternative to
reduce trafc on the roads and in the
local/metro trains/Buses particularly
for those jobs which need only a smart
phone, a Laptop and Internet connection.
99% respondents agreed with the above
opinion.
6. It was observed that during lockdown, there was a remarkable reduction in the air and
noise pollution. Cities like Delhi had never seen such a reduction in the pollution in
the recent times. Therefore it was asked that whether work from home can result in
the reduction of the air and noise pollution. 97% respondents agreed with the above
opinion, only 3% respondents did not agree with the same.
