               India’s success stories and best practices in millet promotion.
               Collaborate with international partners to achieve SDG 2 on
               a global scale.

        10. Certification and Quality Standards:

           •  Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality standards
               and  certifications  for  millets  to  ensure  that  consumers
               receive safe and nutritious products. Encourage organic and
               sustainable millet farming practices and provide certifications
               for farmers.

           •  Premium Pricing: Work towards providing premium prices
               for organic and high-quality millet products. Support farmers
               in achieving these quality standards and incentivize them to
               adopt sustainable farming practices.
        By elaborating on these action points, the Indian government can
        create a comprehensive strategy to harness the potential of millets
        to achieve SDG 2 and contribute to ending hunger, ensuring food
        security, and promoting sustainable agriculture  in the country.
        The  successful  experiences  of  states  like  Chhattisgarh,  Haryana,
        Odisha, and  others  can  provide  valuable  insights  and  models  for
        implementation across the nation.
