The researcher’s control over data collection, variables, and research
methods is limited when working with secondary data. This limitation

necessitates careful consideration of potential confounding factors
and alternative explanations for observed patterns.

In light of these limitations, this study serves as an essential foundation
for understanding government interventions in millet production and

processing in India. It offers valuable insights and sets the stage for
further research that can build upon these findings by incorporating
primary data collection, conducting more fine-grained analyses, and
exploring a broader array of socio-economic and environmental
factors influencing millet agriculture in India.
