Trade
India is one of the major exporters of millet in the world, accounting
for around 50% of the global millet trade. In 2020-21, India exported
around 275,000 metric tons of millet, valued at approximately USD
92 million. The major importers of Indian millet are the United Arab
Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Nepal.
