IMDR Has organized a webinar on August 28, 2021 on the topic Personal Finance: Career prospects The webinar was conducted through Microsoft Teams and participants were students of PGDM-I &II.The resource person was Mr. BiswanathMohapatra , Regional Manager for Odisha at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank.
He shared with us a glimpse of your professional journey which was indeed interesting and also taught us the right approach to accept new opportunities as well as to be ready for new challenges also. He enlightened the students about financial planning. His examples were so relevant and very well suited. The advice about maintaining a personal balance sheet and income expenses statement is worth considering. The significance of the emergency fund has rightly been pointed out. Undoubtedly Medical insurance and term plans are very essential to lead a peaceful life. He discussed elaborately a variety of investment avenues like equity , debt , mutual funds and its types. The advice on asset allocation was very useful for the young investors.
